- Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels provides two meals a day to homebound adults age 60 or older, or adults of any age with a chronic health condition or disability who meet program eligibility guidelines, and live in Frederick County. A hot meal is delivered midday, accompanied by a cold meal that can be refrigerated and eaten later.

- Frederick County Transit-Plus
- This is a curb-to-curb demand-response paratransit service for older adults (60+) and people with disabilities. Other transit-dependent persons may use this service on a space-available basis.

- Taxi Access Program
- The Taxi Access Program (TAP) is a supplemental transportation option for people who are eligible for the Transit Plus program. This service is available on weekdays and weekends within Frederick County, based on taxi availability.
- TAP eligibility:
- Seniors 60+ and people with disabilities
- Must be registered with Transit-plus
- Eligible users have scheduled or attempted to schedule three Transit Plus rides over the course of a month
- How it works:
- Eligible users will receive an allotment of taxi funds monthly, based on home zip code.
- TAP participants pay a zip code-based fare and receive a subsidy, which is applied to a reloadable swipe card with photo ID on it.

- The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development offers a program for accessibility related improvements to the homes of seniors. These improvements may include, among others, the installation of grab bars and railings, widening of doorways and installation of ramps. Home improvements such as these represent for many older people the key to remaining in their home and maintaining their independence.
