    • We serve meals Monday through Friday, 52 weeks a year regardless of rain, sleet, or snow. Dinner is served from 5:00 to 5:45 pm.

    • Our Community Market program is a free farmer’s market style food distribution serving the residents of five Lowell Housing Authority properties, Chelmsford Senior Housing, Dracut Senior Housing, Billerica Greenwood Complex and Tewksbury Carnation Drive.
    • The program offers residents the opportunity to supplement their groceries by enjoying fresh produce and other food staples at no cost.

  • FREE Transportation to Senior Center: The Lowell Senior Center offers free transportation to the Senior center for activities for Lowell residents age 60+.
    • Call 978-674-4131. Availability may vary from day to day, please call in advance so we can plan.
  • Medical Transportation: Senior Dial-a-Ride is available for all people age 60+ for medical rides only. ADA Paratransit curb-to-curb service is available for people with a disability that prevents them from using a fixed route bus—for all trip types.

  • MassHealth Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
    • MassHealth provides non-emergency transportation for many members living in the community who are going to medical appointments with MassHealth providers to get MassHealth-covered services. This service, referred to as non-emergency medical transportation, is at no cost to eligible MassHealth members.
