What insurance policy covers CCM services such as MetaPhy? What should the patient expect?
- Medicare patients with secondary insurance should still have ZERO out-of-pocket cost – the PHE change should not have affected them at all.
- Unless their secondary is Medicaid, Tricare, or ChampVA – we know a few secondary plans will not cover CCM services.
- Patients with a Medicare advantage plan will likely have a monthly cost that is the same as their normal copay for a regular office visit (i.e. $25, $35, etc.).
- Medicare patients without secondary insurance will likely owe a small amount each month.
- Whatever amount is left over after Medicare covers 80% of the program cost.
