How To: Translate Webpages to Alternate Languages
In Google Chrome
- Open the webpage.
- Look for the Translate icon on the right side of the address bar.
- Click it and choose Spanish or another language.
- You can also right-click anywhere on the page and select Translate to Spanish or Translate to [language].
On iPhone/iPad in Safari
- Open the webpage in Safari.
- Tap the Page Menu button near the address bar.
- Tap Translate to Spanish or the available language option.
Safari notes that translation may not be available for every language or region.
On Mac in Safari
- Open the webpage in Safari.
- If translation is available, you’ll see a Translate button in the Smart Search/address field.
- Click it and choose your language.
In Microsoft Edge
- Open the webpage.
- Click the Translator icon in the address bar.
- Choose the language under Translate to.
- Click Translate.
Universal backup option
Copy the webpage text and paste it into Google Translate, DeepL, or another translation tool. This works well when the browser translation button does not appear.
