Have you always thought of inflammation as something that only occurs in joints? What if I told you that inflammation is the cause of almost all diseases? That’s why we see so many diseases together. For instance, obesity, diabetes, fatty liver, high cholesterol, and heart disease often go hand in hand. In most cases, this is because a proinflammatory lifestyle causes them. I’ve heard it said, “If you eat the standard American diet (SAD), you’ll have the standard American diseases”. To change the health projections of our country, we must change the standard American diet and the standard American way of life: minimal activity, unhealthy eating, and loads of stress.
