For many reasons, we recommend sleep as a treatment for multiple problems. When it comes to brain health, sleep is once again an important player. When we sleep at night, the brain processes the “trash” (amyloid) and removes it via the glymphatic system (the brain’s lymphatic system). Amyloid binds up the infectious particles and toxins that are harmful to the brain. Therefore, it is important that the amyloid gets cleared from the brain each night.
