It can be really easy to lose motivation, but some of the following tips can help keep you motivated.

Give yourself credit when you accomplish the little things. We often overlook our wins and focus in on what we’re struggling with. If you take the time to appreciate what you’ve done well, no matter how small, it can help build motivation.

Take some time to do something you love like read a book, watch a favorite show or movie, catch up with a friend, or do anything else you enjoy. Once you’ve taken time for yourself, you might find you come back recharged and with more motivation.

Review your “why” statement, which will help you focus on the reason “why” you want to accomplish something.

Take some time to really think about how it will feel once you accomplish what you set out to do. Thinking about how great it will feel can help increase motivation!

Lastly, if you find your motivation has lessened, show yourself some grace! Remember that no one is perfect, and no one stays motivated all the time. Being hard on yourself will likely only make you lose motivation faster.
