-
Write your “why statement” down on a post-it note and keep it somewhere relative. -
Write your “why statement” down each morning or say it to yourself in the mirror. Reviewing your “why” statement in the morning can help to set your intention for the day and get you off to a great start!
-
Add your “why” statement as a screensaver, or the background on your smartphone.
-
Record your “why” statement as a voice memo on your phone and listen to it when you feel your motivation is lacking.
-
If you feel comfortable, share your “why” statement with someone else! You could share it with a friend, family member, or your Care Coordinator. When other people that care about you know “why” you’re trying to accomplish something, they can help cheer you on and hold you accountable.
