What is Accountability?
In previous articles, we discussed how to create a plan, and why it can be helpful to have one. Let’s take a look at accountability next and how it can help us along our health journey.
Webster’s dictionary defines accountability as, “an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s action”. When thinking about trying to improve our health, accountability can be thought of as taking ownership of our actions that impact our health and wellness. This isn’t always easy, but it is possible!
Check out some of our other articles where we discuss different ways we can hold ourselves accountable throughout our health and wellness journey.
As a challenge, try and think about a time you held yourself accountable to something, or helped hold someone else accountable to something that was important to them.
