Who Can Be An Accountability Partner?
An accountability partner can be helpful to keep you on track and motivated! In another article, we talked about how your MyCare Coordinator can help you to stay accountable, they are a great resource but you might want the support of others when it comes to accountability too. Friends and family members that care about you can make great accountability partners. If you’re working toward a goal and need some extra support, try asking a friend or family member if they would be willing to help hold you accountable. If you don’t have a friend or family member you’d like to ask to be an accountability partner, you can also consider other places you might find an accountability partner like support groups or churches.
You can also get creative, do you have a furry friend at home? If so, depending on your goals, there might be ways they can help you stay accountable too. Check out our article discussing how to create a plan with your accountability partner (furry friend or otherwise) for more information.
